Short description:

Stories that travel through foreign skins and come back to their origins. Songs, gestures, looks, words facing unfamiliar eyes and time. With strong will they survive and remain. Regularly revisited, some will transform and some will be left in the past. 

A piece balancing in the gap between the alive and the abandoned, between purpose and pointlessness. Stubborn actions in the emptiness.

Glòria Ros and Denitsa Dikova spent one week in Montana Municipality. Their time here was the source of inspiration for the creation of this piece. Commissioned by Platform AGORA, Bulgaria.

Кратко описание:

Това е моментна композиция на двама танцьори, един актьор и един музикант.

Истории, които пътуват през времето от човек на човек и се връщат към корените. Песни, жестове, погледи, думи, срещащи непознати очи и време. Със силна воля те оцеляват и остават. Редовно посещавани отново, някои ще се трансформират, а други ще бъдат оставени в миналото. Произведение, балансиращо в пропастта между живите и изоставените, между цел и безмисленост. Упорити действия в празнотата.

Глория Рос и Деница Дикова посетиха община Монтана за една седмица. Времето, прекарано там, е източникът на вдъхновение за създаването на това произведение.

APEX  is the instant composition piece that will arise from the meeting on stage between Albert Cirera, saxophonist, Glòria Ros and Denitsa Dikova, dancers. A piece that is created from the impulse and the perception of each one of them, from the fit between the climaxes and the deaths, the mutations and the persistence, the subtlety and the cruelty of sounds and movements. A work that is based on the effects of the composition of the bodies in space, the information of forms, the intransigence of sound, the immediacy of action.

Duration: 40 minutes.

“To The Last” is a performance for two dancers and a musician, build on a structure and developed on stage through improvisation.

In essence, the piece is a journey. It travels backwards on time and follows the vortex motion, always digging deeper in its own content. The complete immersion in the core of each scene gives a form and an intention to actions and sounds. In return and because of their specificity, they become permeable containers of meaning. The information they carry manifests along a path of opening – expansion - collapse into a single point, which recalls back the whole piece and releases it.


The piece is performed by daring to give time and space for each element to be alive in its simplicity and fullness, by daring to allow this to resound and to absorve it. This is the particularity of this work.

Across a troubled world

                      

 The team of this project is Griet Menschaert - Holland, Bob Georgeson - Australia and Denitsa Dikova – Bulgaria.  

  In 2014 we started an idea for a collaborative project in which video, painting and dance would be combined in an installation.
